Self Fulfilling Prophecies (Blogware Group Workflow)

A few minutes ago I had an idea for a blog post (... something related to the Free Internet Chess Server). Wouldn't it be great if the blogware I'm currently using (Typepad) would allow me to pre-post a blog idea for later edits? Even better what if I hosted a group blog whereby my ever-ingenious fodder was submitted into an editorial workflow? Or if I could click a button at every versioned milestone to generate a PDF, FlashPaper document, or group mailblast? I think with a few simple style and "outline assembly" tags this would make a nice publishing / groupware productivity tool.
