The Free Internet Chess Server (FICS) is the best place to play chess on the Internet. Past results haven't been available outside of their system for historical analysis. They've got an option now to e-mail you nicely delimited results as soon the game is over.
I'll try to to schedule a POP checker and then parse the data into a simple database ("game" and "move" tables are probably all that would be necessary). Then it would be interesting to see over time what my winning (actually losing) percentage was based on things like starting off with e4, time control settings, etc. It also probably wouldn't be too difficult to do pattern matching based on openings like the Ruy Lopez.
